Lawyers in Italy
Evening all,
Just thought I would quickly probe your minds as the most useful resources on italy on the Web;
As in UK some lawyers offer a free service one day a month for civil or family matters, do you know if that would exist here in Italy ? Basically I need a family lawyer to give some advice on a mothers rights but we're a bit skint to be paying extortionate prices for 15 mins of advice

You might find something similar in Italy but it will probably be one of those word of mouth things where a friend knows a lawyer or his brother-in-law is a lawyer or whatever. I think it would be hard to find one who gives a free 15 minute consultation as par for the course.
There are a few free website lawyers but then it depends if they want to answer your query or not in real time or within the next month or whenever they get around to it.
One of the trade union offices might have something, they're a bit like the Citizens Advice Bureau in some respects, but not all and they are mostly concerned about work things - but not always.

Depending on wher you live you might find that the local council has a ' family service ' which would include free advice from a lawyer and reconcilaition services . In larger cities there should be a specific service for foreigners but you need to checl out whats available in your area

Sorry it's taken me ages to reply. Thanks so much for all your help, I've been messing about in Mountains and back in the UK so been distracted but now using your info.
I'm now moving into a brand new house with my missus so expect probably a million more questions
