Default Internet and UK tv

Hi all
Just joined the forum and i am hoping someone can shed some light on a few things.
We are moving to the Piedmont area of Italy , now because it is out in the sticks i was wondering how easy it is to have Internet & English TV installed and the cost.
Is their any other expats in this area from this forum by any chance ?

Cheers Steve

I'm in Piemonte out in the sticks and I have internet and I have my English TV.
Dont worry - you'll be fine.

Internet was installed by Telecom Italia and my English TV is via a dish on the balcony (Astra 28.2 SE) and a receiver box. The whole kit cost 79 euros and when the last box died on us, we bought a new one at LIDL for 45 euros. So all in all not expensive

If you need real expert info though - Duffer will hopefully appear at some point

we pay 35 euros a month for unlimited use. Dont know if thats alot or not but we get free national phone calls - so it balances out.

Vodafone just had an offer out - € 25 euros/month I think for landline calls, internet and also calls to the UK. I went for it but had connection problems within 3 weeks.

Infostrada are good too if a tad more expensive and you don't get the UK calls included.
