Been looking to install a termostufa for the past three months and have had no end of problems choosing the right one, but have finally decided on the Nordica Termo Rossella Plus DSA. Before going out and buying it, I thought I would see if anyone on the forum has one and if they found it worked OK. (For some reason the local plumbers wanted me to buy something that's big enough to heat the nearby village as well - guess it's because Italians feel the cold more than us Brits. I've gone for something that will hopefully heat the few rooms we shelter in during the winter.)

Hi,
We do not have the same stuffa, but like you found it difficult to choose a product as there are so many on the market.
We opted for termocamino-Vulcano as several of our friends had one and were very pleased with it.We could not have chosen a stuffa as we have to heat 200-300m2.
Does your stuffa heat hot water? It seems that you can connect it to a gas boiler as well.
Anyway, sorry can not help with this particular model, but I can suggest getting a qualified plumber to install it.

Hi Isakat and Lorna,
Yes, will definitely be getting a plumber to install. The stufa is just for the heating and our house is small but as it's made of stone with very thick walls it's not very easy to heat. We'll link the stufa to the boiler with a switch so that we can return to gas heating if the house is too cold. Last year we pretty made do with a small stufa, quilt, hat and a large dog!
Hopefully this winter we'll be warmer so that when we get snowed in it'll be more fun
Cheers

Doesn't the place where you buy the stufa from have one of their blokes come and install it?
When my friends got theirs, installation of the chimney pipe and maintenance book and all that stuff was included.
