How much per km do I charge?
#1
Just had someone ask me to act as a chauffeur/tour guide for a week or two. We've agreed an hourly rate, but I have no idea how much to charge for diesel/wear & tear on the car.
I think it says on the display that the car uses an average of 10.2lt/100km.... it's a two year old Rav4. Would that be about right? So how much is a reasonable amount to charge.... I don't even check the price of fuel before I fill up as it's something vital, not optional, but I'm guessing I pay between 1.70 and 1.80 euros per litre?
Anyone there who can give me a reasonable figure per km? Thanks!!

The Inland Revenue allows 45p/mile if I remeber correctly, which is about 28p/Km and £:Eu exchange rate of 1.25 suggests 0.35 Eu/Km is reasonable
