Hi everyone,

We have recently taken possession of our new home near Castiglione / Castelnuovo in the Garfagnana, about an hour north of Lucca. The house is heated using an oil boiler and the oil supplier are the only details we were unable to get from the previous owner.

We are heading over tomorrow for a short visit to sort out odds and ends, but we have just discovered that the oil tank is empty. We had understood it was half full, but apparently not! Therefore we desperately need to find a supplier of heating oil nearby.

Does anybody know of a reliable supplier in the area (near Castelnuovo di Garfagnana) who should be able to supply heating oil within one or two days? Also, how is oil typically paid for? In the UK, we usually receive an invoice when it is delivered and pay afterwards by credit card or bank transfer. Is it the same in Italy?
