Default Health Insurance if moving to Italy

Hello!

New to this site. I am looking to move to Italy and understand you have to get around 2yrs quite expensive health insurance before you can qualify for Italian? Does anyone have recent experience of this? Can give advice? Or a recommendation?

Many thanks,

You mean you cant have italian health insurance for 2 years? Thats not true. You can get either assicurazione volontaria from day 1 (the state health insurance), or private Italian health insurance - If you have different information can you cite it and we can check. Thanks.
