Default General Election

4th of July it is.

I haven't had to use Poste Italiane for years, are they still as dismal now as they used to be? I might consider voting by proxy this time.

I don't know about Italian post but the problem we have (Hungary) is with UK Government post (including ballot papers) - taking 3-4 weeks to arrive, having done a tour of Europe via Frankfurt, Malta, etc. All other post from the UK arrives in 2/3 days.

If you have a proxy I strongly recommend that you use one (we don't).

The problem is that you will get a pre paid envelope that is not an international pre pay but a UK one.In France La Poste would not accept them and you had to buy a stamp so be warned.I would use a proxy this time

So 3/4 weeks outbound and 3 weeks inbound - definitely need a proxy!
