Default English schools in Italy

Hello all,

Does anyone know any English language school in Italy that offers residential programmes (family stays, weekend trips etc) for students from abroad? Or, perhaps, anyone would like to start doing it? There seems to be a high demand in Russia, a lot of my Russian friends and their friends say they would send their kids to Italy to learn English (and a bit of Italian).

Have a look here http://www.schoolnextdoor.com They run a summer school just outside of Florence and I think there may be other locations too.

There are lots of places do this but normally as a summer school like Stellina says. Canadian Island is another one in Florence and there is another that I can't remember....there's quite a few around the lakes too that combine sailing etc with learning English.
