Good afternoon,
I'm new on here and about to bore you all with a question you've probably heard a thousand times.
Renovation work will be starting shortly (next 6 months or so) Plans are in place and my geometra has sent out the work schedule to three local contractors. The renovation will include the addition of double glazing, increased insulation, solar panels, battery, wind turbine etc, etc. As we are currently retired and living in the UK is there any part of the Ecobonus 2025 available to us and how does it work?

Unless you are resident in Italy and pay tax here the answer is no you cannot have any incentives. They are all knocked off any eventual Italian tax bill you would pay. There were some firms - like ENEL - who would take the incentives and give you a lower price on the work - so its worth asking your geometra if those schemes are still working - but Im pretty sure you would still have to be a resident to qualify.

I AM AN ARCHTECT WORKING ON A PROJECT WITH PHOTOVOLTAICS AND A HEAT PUMP Incentives are available if included in the so-called "Conto Termico 3.0". The decree was published in the Official Journal in September and will enter into force on December 25, 2025. The opportunity is very attractive WERE ENERGY IS BOUGHT OFF YOU BY THE STATE AND YOU QUALIFY IF YOU HAVE THE CORRECT COMBINATION OF PANELS AND HEAT PUMP.

Are you paying tax in Italy? If not then, logically, you won't get any tax relief.
My daughter (Ital. citizen and resident) is also rennovating but unless she pays sufficient IRPEF (income tax) she won't get anything back, or it will be limited. TAx releif is usuallt spread over 10 years (starting from the year after you actually paid for work).
