Default Earthquake

Blimey, had to run out of the house. DS was petrified. Just checking the website to see where the epicentre was.
Left all exits open in case it happens again

From what I see on net so far looks like magnitude 3.5, centred 10 km deep about 20Km NE of Rome - I didn't feel anything here in town though.

I am in the first lot of towns.
OH was told to go home from work in case another one hits.
No cracks in the house as far as I can see, but I do not worry too much as it was built aseismic.

Welcome to the club Isakat! ... we're sort of getting used to them around here, although admittedly they rarely go over 3.0 these days.

They were talking on the news yesterday about shops and other businesses just opening up again after the 20/29th May biggies here.

(..and as they say in Italian "qui lo dico e qui lo nego" .. I read somewhere there was supposed to be another big one between 13-16th July ... but it's unofficial, of course..)

I didn't feel anything, hope it's all finished now Isakat.
Anyway, tonight the earth will move for the OH. It's sex night
And judging by Malcesine's location, i.e. Verona, I think you are correct.

Dont worry folks, Earthquakes are impossible to predict. Which in my book makes it even more exciting. Was totally amazing here where i am watching the whole tops of trees in the woods opposite shaking around like crazy, reminded me of that scene in King Kong where you cant see him but you know he's there !

It may be exciting at first but after several powerful shakes when you have to keep running out of the building with a toddler in your arms it starts to wear a bit thin. The trouble here was that the epicentre kept moving and you never knew where it would hit next. Hope you don't get any more in Rome.

An interesting way of looking at it, but somehow I don't share your "excitement"....
I was totally brickin it the first time (4 o'clock in the morning) and much the same the second big one.

I'm just fed up with it now .. and everyone saying "hai sentito la scossa?" every couple of hours.

I wanna go home!
