I've been down to the anagrafe office with my documents to register as resident. Apparently I'm missing a few things. I took passport, birth certificate, codice fiscale, health insurance card (which is in my husband's name but covers the whole family), the completed form, marriage certificate and translated marriage certificate.

What can I use as evidence of family members and relationships within the family? Would my daughter's birth certificate do for that? (If I get it translated and notarized?)

And it says 'self-declaration' of sufficient means/income, which is my husband's income, but do they want a payslip or a bank statement, or is there a form I'm missing for him to sign? (He isn't becoming resident, just me)

They probably want a birth cert for every member of the family who will be resident. A self declaration means just that. You can go along with a bank statement, but all that they require is your signature on a bit of paper saying you have a enough to get by. If you p.m. your comune, I'll look at what they require cos Lorna's out and about.

They want the status of family ,which you can self certify, which is who you are and relationships between you, and they will want proof that you as a family have over 11000 euros to live on - so a bank statement, preferably Italian, with some money in it, or a UK statement with some money - It doesnt have to be this months - but a recent one with a healthy balance - will suffice
