Ive got my insurance sorted but as it is with clements they dont issue the the sticker thingy that you put on your windsheild and shows when the insurance expires.

My neighour think the Polizia and carabinieri wont like the fact that we don't have a window sticker.

Will it matter?

What if i just make my own?

they must give you the sticker, its a legal requirement to display it.

Sticky thingy. Your insurance form should have a square thingy bit that you tear off and put in the sticky thingy - which we got from the dealer.

Yeah - well the dealer did give me a the sticky thing - similar to a UK tax disc holder. But my insurance isn't with an Italian company so i presume they wouldnt provide the slip??

Anyone else insure through a non italian insurance company / broker and get the tear off slip??

Admiral (a UK company but here conte) sent my sticky square about a week after I bought my car. The dealer told me to fold up my the letter from my insurance company and slip it in the plastic square holder on the windscreen so that it remains visible for control.
I used to have a French car with a small green insurance sticker and I once got a fine (which I have never paid) for not being insured - the Italian warden did not see the reglementary Italian square

I am thinking of taking my Honda CRV to Milan in couple of months and wondering if it is really worth and how much fees and costs should I expect for registeration, insurance etc.?
