Default Brits soon to be "extracomunitari"..?

Just got back form visiting a non EU country, with all the problems that brings, and then I find this ...

56% of Britons would vote to quit EU in referendum, poll finds
http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2...eferendum-poll

.. so perhaps I really should get cracking on that Italian citizenship application...

well hang on a minute , 34 pct were definate and only 22 probable. Wait until they find out that companies like Nissan might well up a go if UK production was suddenly non EU and hence subject to fewer handouts and tough import laws .. I just can't see you swearing allegiance to the italian flag ..

Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland are not members of the EU, but their citizens enjoy the same mobility across Europe as EU citizens do.

mmmm ... it's hard enough sometimes for Italian bureaucracy to include "cittadini dell'Unione Europeo" in many official documents I can't see them including Swiss, Norwegians and the like.
Mobility is one thing, being able to 'do' things in Italy is another.

I am seriously considering it .. HadEnough! .. as longas I can keep my brit passport! I think this has been discussed elsewhere ..

We all agree you can have your Uk passport and also an Italian one if you really want to , but you must then be sure to invite us all to the ceremony so we can clap ( slowly ) while you swear allegiance and sing the national anthem ...
