brit marrying an italian in italy
I am a UK national who plans to marry my italian fiancee in piedmonte, Italy at the end of august.
We have booked the roman catholic church and reception, I have obtained my "certificate of non impediment" and also my "nulla osta". At easter we will visit the "commune" to register our intention to marry.
Has anyone British got married to an italian national in italy and can advise on things to be aware of?

I have my nulla aosta and will be going to the relevant commune at easter. Other than that, I plan to go to church take the vows and that was it.
Are there any other things i need to do/be aware of e.g. is there any requirment for me to "reside" in the parish for a certain period before getting married?
Your advice would be very helpful.
