I am going back to the UK, and I need to ship all my stuff (like furniture, and several big boxes filled with things) back to the UK. I have been looking for a company who does this kind of thing, but has been unable to find one: either it is too much stuff for them, or not enough, or way too expensive. I would like to know if anyone knows a company who does shipping from Italy (Trieste, to be precise) to the UK, for a reasonable price (there is little point for it if it is cheaper to just buy new furniture & etc). Try SHIPLY, an internet company where you enter all the shipping
details and transport companies bid for the work.

If you search the Italy forum there should be a man with a van doing regular trips IT-UK but I forget the username, perhaps Superman or similar.

super man 2 is his name he has moved a lot of my friends and can be vouched for

There is also Eurovan and man, we used them as they worked out cheaper than superman 2 but that may depend on how much stuff you have and whether you are willing to be a "back load" i.e. they are already in Italy and going back empty so little flexibility on dates.

I find it difficult to understand how you can state I am more expensive then eurovan and man when I have never done business with you and to my knowledge I have never provided any quote.
I do not think any unfounded comments should be made on a public forum which could potentially be damaging to a business or personal reputation
I am happy to proved a price for shipping good but I do it through the PM system

No offence intended, I was merely saying that you worked out more expensive for me personally (you did indeed give me a quote). I also said that it would depend on their individual circumstances and how much stuff they had. I don't think that it's damaging to a personal reputation to say that in this case you worked out more expensive, it's not as though I said you were not to be trusted or were ridiculously over priced. I was merely stating a fact. However, as I say, I apologise if this upset you.
