Default The Association of Bologna?!

Who are they? Are they real?!

When surfing the web for properties I often use the hilariously eccentric Google Translation facility. Often the term 'the Association of Bologna' comes up. Does this mean the property is not freehold and the Ass of Bologna own the land? Would i have to pay monthly or annual fees to this Association then?

Or, is it a quirk of Google and they don't even exist?

Any ideas?

There is no leasehold properties in Italy unless this has changed recently. It took me ages to get my head around leasehold properties when I moved to England

In what contest does the association of Bologna comes up and have you got a link to it?

Make sure there are no debts attached to the property though, cause if there are then you will be liable for them if you buy it.

There is a house near my parents that I would give my right arm for it, but my father told me that the debts that come with it are more than the cost of the property.

If there is any test in Italian that you want me to check out send me a link
