Default Any ideas for finding work??

Hi, we have been here many years..so there is no problem with the language..but we have arrived at a point that we cant find work!! Has anyone got any brilliant ideas that maybe i just haven't thought about for even..say working from home..or between the uk and here?? Any serious suggestions welcomed!! Bye for now......

Snap....I'm in the same boat. Maybe we could put out heads together and come up with something....! I've been thinking of all the options and still haven't had any bright ideas....DOH. Fish & Chip chain? I'd love to have an agriturismo but I just don't have a few million Euros spare!

Might help if you told us your skills incl. any hobbies that might be classed as a skill, qualifications and location.

I agree with John, we could do with knowing what your skills are, what work you've been doing up until now and where you are, too (i.e. are there any multinationals near you that need English speakers?) I started off working in a ceramics firm doing commercial stuff, didn't like it though so now work from home as a translator. Other people teach English, and one girl I know has just got hired by Ferrari working in the visitor centre! So a lot depends on what possibilities there are in your area.

HI k..I HAVE ALSO SENT YOU A PRIVATE MESSAGE! HOW DID YOU GO ABOUT FINDING TRANSLATION WORK? THAT IS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS ME AND I HAVE TRIED PUTTING ADVERTS IN LOCAL PAPERS ECT! i LIVE NOT FAR FROM REGGIO EMILIA. SORRY ANOUT THE CAPITALS..I DIDNT REALIZE UNTILL I LOOKED AT THE SCREEN!!!
