Hi everyone, is it easy to find Almond & Coconut milk in Italy?

We are going to be in Sardinia on holiday. I know there is a Carrefour in Cagliari but I imagine we will be taking a taxi to Costa Rei. They have mini supermarkets out there but I imagine whatever they sell will be more limited and more expensive.

Carrefour sell coconut milk in both their Cagliari stores. I doubt very much you will find any in the mini supermarkets in Costa Rei. Maybe in Sigma in Muravera but I don't really know. As for Almond milk, I've never seen it in any of the main supermarkets.

I think the OP actually wants almond and coconut milk, and not almond milk and coconut milk

OK Gotcha. To be honest I've not heard of almond & coconut milk until now. I think I would have noticed as I've seen chestnut milk in a couple of supermarkets and had also never heard of it previously. As I said, I doubt very much you will find in any of the small shops in Costa Rei.

Conad in Villasimius sell chestnut milk. Sigma in Villasimius have in the past sold coconut milk. Cashew milk.......again this is a first for me.

I don't know if Sardinia has any Lidl, but we can get almond milk in Lidl here (Puglia).

There are lidls in sardinia - elmas has one. Also via marconi heading out of cagliari towards Quartu. Now very popular.

There is a small shop in a street in cagliari's marina district heading up from via roma at the eastern end that sells a range of "exotic" foreign stuff. Includes, amongst what you would tend to think of as "ethnic" stuff things like HP sauce i seem to remember. It's a bit boutique/pricey but may have what the OP is looking for - I don't know.

You should find almond milk - latte di mandorla, easily in Sardegna - failing that you can buy a block of pasta di mandorla, mix it with water and you have your own.
