hi i have a problem i own a house in italy , i have a electric account and gas account , i brought a classic motor bike , and am now told as i dont have a residence papers so i cant register the bike in my name , surley if you own a house for the last 12 years you should at least be able to own some transport ???? is it dificult to get the papers for a residence !! any help would be nice ,

Im afraid its all true. To own a been mobile - 'moveable goods' - you must have residence in Italy - for tracing rather than fiscal purposes. Just owning a house isn't enough - so you would need to apply for residence - see other threads on the tortuous process you would need to undergo - search for 'residence'
