Advice on buying a home in Abruzzo or Umbria ?
Hi we’re a couple in our mid 50’s keen to buy a home in Italy ,Abruzzo or Umbria , been over a few time to casually look at what’s available but need to get a bit more serious now , 2 bed house , big village or small town any advice gladly taken !

You are doing the right thing already by looking at these forums, keep reading back on old posts. When you come across topics like residency, driving licence, health cover, language etc. Make a list and then search the forums for posts on them. From that more topics will crop up to list and research. Two bed houses are not that many if I recall, but a little more on what you are after may bring more advice from others i.e. land required, what time you will spend there, country side or sea?
