Abruzzo or Le Marche? which is best for rentals/B&B
Hi im new to the forum. We are looking for a house/renovation project in northern abruzzo or southern le marche area with a view to living there and running a holiday letting/bed & breakfast business. Trying to decide which area would be best for this purpose to get the best chance of success and survival ! I would welcome any advice on type of tourists in the area and their requirements i.e. beach, mountains, places, transport links etc
We are visiting for 4 days from April 20th looking at houses but its a vast area to cover. Any advice welcome. Thankyou

hi we have a bb in abruzzo and a self catering apartment we had the same thing in england but buisenes is totaly diferent to england half what it was in england . but whith the resesion eathqaeke , pound to ero , it has been dificult to judge , what i would say is try to get a house not to remote near good resurants and aiport whith good road acces . we have been here 6 years if you need any further help pm me

Thanks for that, very helpful advice. I think our difficulty is needing to know what we're aiming for before we choose the house or collection of house and outbuildings for conversion. When we get there we'll just fall in love with everything ! I may PM for bit more advice later.

just spotted your post. we're coming out with a view to buy and looking for somewhere to stay in Pescara for 2 nights - June 4th & 5th and then hire a car and explore.Was wondering if your B&B is central in Pescara.
