Hey All
I am in the US and have been having the hardest time finding IT work. My background is IT management, primarily tech support manager but I've also done consultancy, architecture etc.
Just wondered if anyone had any pointers as I've only been able to jump from contract to contract and I'm getting desperate.

We empathize with you. My Brit husband and I moved to Charleston, SC on Nov. 1. He, too, has a strong, impressive IT background. He has applied for over 40 jobs, has had 1 interview, but remains unemployed. He checks the classifieds in the newspaper every day, monitors jobs online at some of the larger companies, has registered with Job Service, and is registered at some online job sites ... but nothing.
It's really getting scary for us ....
Hope something materializes for both of us. Good luck.
Denise
