Default The new Bali tourist cash grab tax

Tourists to Bali will be overjoyed at this news...

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-02-...-pay/103389600

Effective from this Wednesday, February 14. Happy Valentine's Day, suckers!

This new tax is in extra to the visa payment of arrival of US$35/AUD$50. Payable on arrival.

The irony of it is, if you leave the actual island (of Bali) for a day trip to Lombok, when you return to Bali island, you cough up another $15.

Ha!

$15 probably isn't going to deter anyone from visiting Bali, it's a lot less than the tourist tax charged in over 40 other places.
