but I'm back this morning to see if England can get away with it.

Rain stopped play in the NZ / PAK game

PAK win, but NZ remain in 4th place in the table, and PAK 5th.

NZ has SL for their last game on 9th, whilst PAK has ENG on 11th. Going to be interesting to see who makes top 4.

Will be very interesting to see how SA respond to IND's 326.

IND's run rate dipped a bit, then Virat Kohli got his century - on his birthday.

Wow, seventh place. thats a place in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy secured, if they keep it.

Only 4 matches remaining.

India is a sure thing, as is SA and AUS. Final place in the top 4 is a run off between NZ, PAK and AFG - with SA playing AFG today and PAK playing ENG tomorrow.

Well that was a surprise - did anyone get to see the ENG v PAK match?

Anyway NZ now confirmed in top 4 and will play India in the first semi-final on Wednesday. SA play AUS in the second semi-final on Thursday.

Didn't get to see it, but was tracking the match. Given the slow start, I had half a mind that England were "messing" with the Kiwis ... all good in the end though.

IND vs AUS final?

India yes - not sure on AUS.

SA thrashed them in the early stages.

I take your point, SA do seem to be AUS's bogey team of late, but I think they've improved a bit since.

Not counting the NL match in that though, even my cats could beat NL.

Do you see India winning? Or falling at the final hurdle?

I see India winning it, can't believe that they'll stumble now.

No, me neither - that'll give them 11 wins from 11, good going for sure.

Not watching, just playing catch-up, IND are going well in the first semi-final against NZ, the run rate is looking likely to give a 370+ innings total.

Kiwis badly need some wickets now.

AUS were off to a great start, SA 44/4 off 14 overs, run rate of 3.14 and now rain has interrupted play :(

Congrats AUS! Won by 3 wickets, 16 balls remaining.
