Cricket World Cup

Well the opening game did not go well for England in Ahmedabab but well played NZ.

Anyone else watching? Anyone local going to any of the matches?

Do we know anyone who actually lives there?😂
Methinks we're on dangerous ground here!
I will try to follow...

I had a look at where the matches are being played, and they've spread them across the country - https://7cricbuzz.in/series/world-cu...20in%20Kolkata.

Australia plays India on Sunday in Chennai.

Re: Cricket World Cup

The Australia / India match today is the last of the opening matches.

A check on the table shows England at the bottom, and NZ topping, but early days yet.

Others that won their first round were South Africa, Pakistan, and (last night) Bangladesh.

The Aussies are not having much luck - beaten in their opening game against India, and in their second by South Africa. Next match is Monday against Sri Lanka but not looking good for them.

England at least won second match against Bangladesh, sitting in 5th position for now and playing Afghanistan tomorrow.

Todays match should be good - India v Pakistan - currently at 3 and 4 respectively with both teams having won their first two games.

Not sure if anyone else is watching. India and NZ - the only two unbeaten teams now - playing today

I've got half an eye on it, though my stream keeps sticking :(

Will 273 be enough?

I missed it, will have to find a recording of India's innings from somewhere in TheSwamp.

I missed the end too - too late here with work.

Watched a bit of the Aussies last night but missed the end of that too. Looks like England is trying to out do the Netherlands tonight though - 85/5 :(

And thus ends the thrashing.

Nissanka finished it with a glorious six.

They climbed above the Netherlands in the table, lets look on the bright side.
