X-ray film misplaced in DIMIA.
Hi! All,
Did this ever happen to you? My wife's X-ray film was misplaced in DIMIA. My
case officer sent a letter to my panel doctor requesting to send the X-ray
film which was sent with all the medical reports. Luckily they found it
after the Australian Consulate over here notified the DIMIA that the film
was sent along with other records. But now another issue. According to their
record, it shows my wife has been in Australia for more than 12 months so
she needs to submit Australian Federal Police report whereas she has been
there for 4 months only!! I have given them all the details including the
visa no., passport no. and the dates she arrived and departed Australia.
That's still not enough for them. Now they want copies of all the pages of
the passports she held. What kind of record system they have, can't they
verify from the passport no., visa no. and the dates? I am getting
frustrated with this. God knows what they may ask after this.

Before any one could comment on your wifes situation I think a little bit more information forthcoming would be great I am not too sure but I believe what your wife is going through may be the second stage of her visa application In that case the information they require has to be provided and what is more is that you have only 60 days to do that Perhaps there will be someone out there better equiped to provide you with the information you require Regards Gerard
