Default Working Holiday Visa Limitations

Hi,

My partner and I are hoping to be out in Melbourne at the end of the year. We have a 5 month old son too. Accommodation, work is fine, but the one question we have is - can my son be allowed in to Australia on my Working Holiday Visa? Or will my partner have to get a Tourist Visa and then leave the country every 3 months or whatever the rule is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Samneric

your child cannot accompany you, and you have to lodge a paper based application whereby you state that your dependent child won't be coming with you...

I was under the impression that you could not get a working holiday visa if you had children. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I would check before booking flights or anything else that would cost money.

there was a change late last year dorothy that's why i gave her the link... but you're right, previously, if one had dependent children, s/he couldn't apply for a WHV
