Default Working Abroad

Hi everybody, Advice needed.
I'm a PR in WA with state sponsership. I've been here for 17 months now but the company I'm working for has offered me a position in South America, but still based in WA paying tax in australia. How doe's this effect my wait for citizenship which I really want, or should I just turn down the transfer until I get citizenship in 30months

I dont think those days would be counted towards your australian citizenship. Its that you have to spend time in australia.
