Hi Everyone
Just wondering if you can help?, We are gathering information for the TRA and have noted that they now require Qualifications, My Husband is trying to apply for Printing Machinist, He has his City and Guilds in Machine Printing and also did a years couse called first National Diploma in Machine Printing, no certificate was issued for that year course but we do have a reference from his college tutor who is still at the college 20 years later, we do have the certificates for the City and Guilds, Does this mean we can still apply?
Thanks

Not sure if i am giving the correct information as we done ours before the change were made but i gather the new changes require formal training such as the city and guilds and not just the on the job training that some people receive, if oh has c&g then he was a full timed served appentice printer. I hope this is right for you.

It sounds to me that your husband could qualify for a positive skills assessment through Route B (as long as he has 900 hrs of training and can show this).
