No.

If she doesn't currently have a visa she will need to apply for a Spouse Visa.

In my local country spouse visa takes 10 months...i was wondering whether now that she is pregnant her processing time will be dramatically reduced..

Congratulations.

Not just she won't get visa faster, she has to delay her visa application due to X-Ray requirement.

First of all congratulations.

unfortunately there is no such provision, if its urgent, why not explore the option for visitor visa for her?

No she doesn't. With a lead shield there is no reason why she can't have a chest x-ray.

I didnt consider this option, well, if you are ready to do smth like that when you are pregnant, fine by me. I personally didnt and I wouldnt. To expose your child even to a slightest danger especially at an early stage just for visa, well. whatever. Its illegal in Germany as far as I know, they are all just fools over there of course.

If she is migrating to Australia she should arrive on a Spouse Visa, not as a tourist.

A person is exposed to more radiation by flying from UK to Australia than by having a chest x-ray. At least according to radiologists. But they are all just fools of course.

Do whatever you want to do, everybody has his own priorities.
Australian government in Partner booklet does not recommend to do chest X ray whilst pregnancy.

As for tourist visa, it is possible to apply for both spouse and tourist visa and wait for decision on spouse visa in Australia, you d just have to have a visa run when you get your grant letter (NZ or Singapore whichever is closer). However, for a 1 year tourist visa the OP's wife will need chest X-ray again.
