Dear RNRJ,

Depends when you lodged your application. If on 30 June 2004 or before, it goes to Adelaide, if on 1 July 2004 or after, it goes to the Local Clearance Unit in Sydney. If your forms were issued by Adelaide it should have the relevant address in the right hand bottom corner. If front-end loading then I assume the address for you would be the LCU.

Cheers,

George Lombard

Sorry just looked through our papers and it was our agent who told us to send them to Adelaide is this going to be a problem? :scared:

Just spoke with agent who says we sent them to CO to forward to Sydney.
Seems a strange way to do it.

Did your medical form have an address stamped on it? We got ours back in Jan and they had the Sydney address stamped on them directly. I guess some people are getting their forms via email now - do those have the Sydney address right in the PDF version or is it simply blank? If it's blank then I could see that might cause some confusion.

In our letter from our CO it did say send all information to Adelaide, and even mentioned "proof of medical exam" in the checklist of stuff to send back to ASPC. However, I don't really think they want medicals sent to Adelaide. My Dr. was going to send them to Sydney as per the address on the forms.

Cheers,
Brian

Hi rnrj,

The medicals form I received contained self printed address which shows

LOCAL CLEARANCE UNIT
DIMIA,
GPO BOX 9984
SYDNEY NSW 2001 AUSTRALIA

I wonder where you got the address for the courier which is:

LOCAL CLEARANCE UNIT
DIMIA,
LEVEL 6, 26 LEE STREET
SYDNEY CBD NSW 2000 AUSTRALIA

Are both different? If I send using courier to the former, is it okay?
