When the student visa expires if graduated earlier?
One of my friends has a student visa which expires on 18/AUG/03 but he already
graduated in December last year. His student visa seems to expire in near future but
nobody seems to exactly know when the visa will be cancelled.
Does anyone have similar experience?

I experience about the same thing. I discussed this with some staffs at the
university, they said that the university's international office would report to the
immigration that the person had finished their study. Thus, the visa will be
cancelled around the end of March 2002.

I experience about the same thing. I discussed this with some staffs at the
university, they said that the university's international office would report to the
immigration that the person had finished their study. Thus, the visa will be
cancelled around the end of March 2002.

instead of expiring on 15/3/03, it expired on 23/11/01, which was the last day of my
final exams.

When I was a uni student, I had external status granted which shortens my study for a
