We are now approaching two months since sending off our medicals and police checks and there seems to be a distinct lack of ‘got its’ appearing on the forums. I take it we are not the only ones who are waiting for the final ok.

Is it taking other people more than a couple of months to get a reply?

We posted medicals on 15th May, PC on 1st June and $100k on 17th June.

None of the above where sent without being requested.

Finally, decided to e-mail case officer on 12th Sept. This is the first time we have attempted to make contact.

Waiting for a response!!

I e-mailed my case officer a nice e-mail and all she needed to repy with was a simple yes or no and I didin't get a single reply.

I guess it was no then!

You could try asking them if they need any further information at this time, that what i did and "got it" two weeks later. ops, sorry you already know i got it dont you! :0

I am going to phone them on Friday to see if they have received all of our things, plus see what the latest thing on their system is. I know they have got them because they told me they had them last time, but I want to make myself known to them again. 'Hello DIMA remember me?'

Our pcc & medical was sent on the first week of June, last month we sent a
polite email to our case officer asking if the docs were proper. Received a
generic reply stating the 50 wks processing time, heavy workload,etc etc
etc..... Not sure if i should send another gentle reminder??!!!

Still waiting, hoping, waiting, hoping............

From what I read as I 'analyse' austimeline, it looks like they are
processing Setpember and October applications for 136's.... generally
speaking...which is a good sign I guess, I applied in November 2002,
so hoping I get the most awaited Christmas present...the ultimate PR!
In the past week based on austimeline, there has been a lot of medical
and police check requests.for the month of September and November..I
supposed the clearest indication here could come from the agents on
this forum.

We posted our medicals on 8th May, PC on 24th May.
Sent two emails to my case officer but didn't get any reply.
Now waiting and waiting......I am just fadeup...they should reply...

Got a standard reply from my case officer that she is on leave for a month till sept 23rd.

You seem, to be remaining quite calm after that e-mail. I would be screaming and shouting lots of nasty words if I received one of those!

I think this is the worse bit. Waiting for the initial medical request was easy, however since sending the medicals off, time has dragged and I get more fed up each day. I guess it doesn't help that we will have to move out of our house next month and we could be homeless.
(At least it is still warm at night, so we could live in a tent!)

This is one reason that i like about this forum, because i could see all my kind of people with frustration waiting for approval after sending the meds....indeed it is taking long time to get some response from ASPC nowadays, i dont know why .....
But i knew onething that we need to keep our fingers crossed and wait with patience, because you all knew the result.

Yes, the waiting is getting quite frustrating. I sent in my police clearances and medicals by mid-April. Another 10 days, I'll be at 17 months. Very tiring!!!!

mine took 18 months 5 days, i hope you don't beat my record! (well not quite a record, but the longest for a while) good luck!

Wow, that is a long time! It must have been quite a wait. Do you know what the hold up in your case was? I noticed on austimeline that you waited about 2.5 months after posting the bond. I sent in the final (I hope) FBI police check from the US in August. It arrived at ASPC on the 11th of August, so if it takes about 2 months, maybe mid-October will be the big day!
