Hi
I have my medical tomorrow and have filled in form 26.
We have had no correspondance from the x ray place so I don't know if there any forms we need to fill in for the x rays as they are directly before the medical.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Claire

Hi
Take your passports and you may need to photocopy the photo page of them aswell. You'll need some pasport photos for the form and wear a vest! Don't wear an underwire bra
Good luck xxx

I am the only 176 to have not got a CO in Jan and am feeling left out.
I have been watching all the Feb people getting their CO and visas so I really hope we get one soon.
Have you got one?
I will wear a vest, think it will be easier!!

Don't worry the only Febs who've got visas are 175s
I think a 176 got a CO cause their status page changed the other day. Reckon you've timed it right though
You can always join the Feb thread if you're feeling left out lol! No 176ers got visas yet so we'll make you feel at home

I was once recovered in hospital for bronchal pnuemonia and was sent for a chest x-ray.
I was only wearing a cotton nightdress and pants and the Dr made me remove the nightie and stand in my pants for the x-ray.
He then told me I had a "fine pair of lungs".
It was only back on the ward when the older ladies laughed and sympathised at the same time that I realised it just wasn't necessary. You will have to remove anything metal - hence the underwiring and clasps on bras --- remove all jewellery too.
You could get away with wearing a bikini top though - especially the all fabric ones that just tie around you. X-rays go straight through it - my son was not asked to remove his t-shirt to x-ray his broken arm ....and should have been allowed to keep my nightdress on !
That Italian Dr must have been an old letch !!!!! I'll know better if I ever need an x-ray again !!!
