Hi,

Can anyone tell me that what is Security Referral Application Form (SRAF). Its the form generated after completing "Character Assessment Paticulars" and automaticaly attached in docs attached list.

Does it impact the application process.

I have the CO on 5/5/2009 , Character Assessment Paticulars request made on 14th may and filled on 15th may.

No mail/response from CO yet.

I m worried about visa grant.

I have also been asked to complete the online Character Assessement Particulars form that I have completed today. But after submitting form as you said, SRAF was not appeared in online document checklist.

When this form was generated, at the time you submitted the character assessement form or after few days.

Its in the document upload/attachment list .... Where you upload/attach the documents NOT in the Document check list.

Does it mean that it will delay the approval for few months.

I guess some of the guy on this forum has their visa even after filling Character Assessment Paticulars.

I suppose that DIMA is asking now to all perosns to fill this info.

But does ti has any impact?

Let me clarify:

It is the "Character Assessment Paticulars" .. the link appeared on your status page. When you click on submit application after filling the "Character Assessment Paticulars" ... it will automaticly generate the SARF and upload it with your documents attachments list.

NO need to worry

Yes, I can see this form in my document attachment area.

So, as per the name suggest, this form will be referred for security checks.

We are all subject to security checks.

I dont think so that are all subject to security checks..

For new applicant its been asked to fill online just after fee submittion.
and for old applicant its been asked by CO .

There are many guys who have visa with in a week after filling this form.

You really gave me blood with this information. Otherwise I was close to heart attack by thinking security checks and delay of 6-8 months.

Now I could think positive.

Actually we are from HR country and could be screwed anyway.
