Hi guys/gals,
I have received my PCC and MEdicals and how long after medicals. Applied for 136 in June 2003 and received medicals sept 2003 and then how long after that.I dont have more patience to wait for long time.PLs Pls advice.

Count yourself lucky, your timeline is looking pretty quick. We applied at the end of Feb 2003, still haven't had medical requests!
Take it that anything under a year processing is a bonus!

Waiting, waiting, waiting, it drives you mad!! Best not to think about it.

Have you tried applying to Canada or NZ? The queue there might be just a tad faster than what you're experiencing with Australia.

You don't know you are born! Some people have been waiting an age for the medical request - don't rub their noses in it!!

Think yourself very lucky your on the home straight now some of us are still in the starting block....

The whole system doesn’t seem fair to me. We are one of the lucky ones who applied 1st Feb and had medicals requested at the end of June. Some poor people are still waiting after applying last November!

We sent our medicals off at the end of July and we are still waiting for the final letter.

I spoke to our agent last night and he advised me that they are currently taking between 3 - 4 months from when they receive your medicals, to when they grant the visa.

It sure is a strange system if it takes 1/3 of a year to look at medical results and then tick a box!

Whether or not you have patience, you will still have to wait, and
like others have also said, count yourself lucky because you are
nearly there.
