What is 457??
We want to go to Oz, and at first we wanted to go on skilled, but I
wanted to see a bit of Oz before all the family say lets migrate. So
Australian Hse said why not go on 457?
Do you still need PC & medicals, TRA??
Help anyone !!!!, all I wanted is for the whole family to go holiday
/work and then go for it (if I can leave all my family). But does anyone
know if this is costly and a bad way to go to OZ.
Any advice would be really fab, because it seems this site is a great
for people like me :o
We are in 30's young family and husbands jobed on skilled list ??

The 457 visa is temporary, not permanent so you can't "migrate" on it. You're just a long term visitor on a 457, and if you don't get permanent residence (many people don't) you will have to go home in the end.

Thanks, I just wanted to go out temporary before I made the step to see
about permanent. But does this take the same time as a skilled migration
visa and the same costs?
