We've just got the visa !!!!!!!!!
Finally we have just got the letter saying that our skilled independant application
has been accepted and we need to get to Aus by 28 November 2002 !!!!!!!!!
So after all the speculating about selling the house or renting, buying new stuff in
Aus, when to move - we have to make those terrible decisions as soon as possible !
I will post the details of the application when I calm down..........

Hi Chris,
Its a great feeling though isn't it. we have just received our passports back today visas insitu. Great to actually see them and they say resident!!!!
Good luck in Oz and for everyone still waiting, fingers crossed it won't be long and it is certainly worth waiting for.

i take it you're going to have a few sleepless nights
please let us know your time lines including when u put your house on the market etc.
( i,m a plumber who works in alot of rented props,only a few tenants look after their homes,and only a few landlords say they have had years of trouble free renting,so i would personally sell)

We have sent our passports to London today for our visas so hopefully they won't take too long. We are hoping to move at the end of June.
