Hi all,
I notice that a lot of properties come with built in wardrobes or walk in wardrobes as standard so do i bother taking my two double wardrobes or not, this could save us a chunck on the removal costs or do i take them just in case, what do you think.

A lot of oz properties come with robes or walk in's to the main bedroom only so it would be safer to take your own - you can always sell them at a garage sale afterwards if you find they are not required

Unless you really love them, I'd leave them...
However ozzies like antiques so if they are old, they may sell well over there if you take them. If MFI, they never go back the same if you take 'em apart!!
We're taking one of ours as I love it, I can always put shelves in it and turn it into a cupboard, if we get WIR's.
Mash..

Depends on where you are moving to as to the age of the house.
Newer houses generally do have built-ins (not always in smaller houses,
that's why they are smaller/cheaper). Older houses - assume not.
Cheers

Everything is quite cheap to buy in Australia, compared to overseas. Unless
you really love them and don't want to part with them, I'd sell your
wardrobes. Use the money saved on shipping to buy new ones over there - if
you find you need them.
Most homes have built in wardrobes. It's the Queenslander style homes which
may not.
