I am qualified for Skilled - Independent visa as well as skilled - sponsored visa (as my brother has citizenship for australia). Which one should I go for ? I know sponsored visa requires only 100 points , but it has low priority as per my understanding. Please advice friends !!

Lodging an application with your brother as a sponsor makes no difference whatsoever to processing priorities. All it does is reduce the points requirement, if you meet the points requirement anyway then probably not much point in bothering your brother will a load of sponsorship forms to fill in.
