13-04-2005 TRA Application sent via DHL 1.00pm
18-04-2005 TRA Application Delivered 8.32am
25-04-2005 TRA Acknowledgement letter arrived
14-06-2005 TRA Positive Result Back - 63 Days In Total
This is where we had had enough of it all as it had taken over our lives so we had a bit of a break here! We had nearly everything ready for main application except for photographs and an up to date reference!
19-08-2005 136 Application Sent - Hairdresser
23-08-2005 136 Application Signed For
12-09-2005 136 Acknowledgement Email From DIMIA
28-11-2005 Meds & Police Checks Requested!
05-01-2006 Police checks applied for (told 42 days!)
16-01-2006 Meds Done!
20-01-2006 Meds Sent!
26-01-2006 Police Checks Back - 21 Days
27-01-2006 Police Checks Sent Normal Post Signed For!
Kept in touch with our case officer who told us she was now going on a break for two weeks! Then emailed her the day she was due back and she replied within a few hours granting our visa’s…………happy days eh!
Its good to see though that the whole process seems to have sped up tremondously. You see how quick people are passing the TRA stage now so its looking good for everyone!
