Thanks for all your kind words.
We now have a dilemma, my son has just taken his mock GCSE's, do we wait until he take the proper exams in May/June or do we go as soon as the house is sold, he obviously wants to go straight away, but I am a bit worried about what to do.
Any suggestions welcome.

then 6 months give me hope that we will not be spending next winter in

I don't even bother contacting DIMA anymore as I believe they are way ahead of the advertised processing times.
