I was recently informed by my agent that he has received my grant letter, but the original letter is not with me. I have a copy of it. Can I send a copy with passports to the embassy to get the visa sticker or will I require the original.

a copy is ok. I used a fax from my agent as I was in NZ at the time.

My friend has only had a fax copy with her, and went personally to the embassy. They did not even want to see it, just asked for her name, and found the details in their database. She got visa without any hassle, three hours later.
