Default Visa before job before visa..... ?

I am just starting down the road of applying for a skilled migrant visa, but
it seems to me the best way is to try to line up a job beforehand.

Does anyone know of agencies or organisations that are prepared to look at
you as a candidate for (IT) jobs without having a visa already in the bag?

Any help or info much appreciated etc etc

I've heard of organisations like Lesters or Freespirit, but no
experience of them:

You would generally get a work permit (457 visa) rather than PR, so
keep your skilled PR application in the system (letting Adelaide know
your movements, and also about your temp visa application) - when your
PR visa is about to be granted, just go to Singapore or Auckland to
collect it.

You can apply for a Permanent Resident Visa under Skill Migration
provided you score 115 points.

Employers in Australia sometimes want the applicant to be the holder
of Permanent Residence status.

However if you get a job in Australia and you have worked 6 months in
Australia you will get 5 extra bonus points.

Best of luck
