I am trying to fill in my visa application myself. question 20 asks what is the value of money, goods and assets which you intend to bring to Australia?
Is it ok to estimate this amount as it all depends of whether we can actually sell our house and how much we get for it?

Yes, just put an approximate amount, they won't ask for proof.
