which visa????
My husband and I are looking to relocate to Australia - I am going to increase my working hours to 20 as I am currently working 10-15 a week and this is not enough for the basic requirements for work experience. I have been a teacher for 7 years in total. My brother in law is an Australian citizen living in Sydney (not a designated area, right?) But he can still sponser us can't he? Which visa would be best for us? My husband's occupation is not recognised on the list, so I thinkI have to be the main applicant.

Re: which visa????
For skilled sponsored the main applicant must be the person with the Australian relative.
The spouse can provide the skill requirements.
If you read the Skilled Migration Booklet, you'll see that basic work experience requirements also exist for Skilled Australian Sponsored - without that, they will refuse your application before even looking at points.
I think I've posted details of what other options you may have.
