I got PR GSM 175 in february. my initial entry is 18-Nov-2010. My wife and daughter are secondary applicants. I plan to go alone first, make arrangements and then take family after four months.

Now I am confused whether I can do so or not? Should all of us need to make initial entry together.

Please help me.

No you don't all have to validate together. You, as primary applicant, must validate first but whether that is you walking through Passport Control ahead of your family or whether they don't come for a few months, it makes no difference. Just as long as you've all validated before the cut off date you'll be fine. Stop panicking.

My understanding is that they can come later than you but not before you. So you can travel to Australia and do what you need to and your family (on the same visa) can travel later providing it's inside the visa expiry time.

I got my visa a few years back so not sure if it's changed since then... I;m sure others will correct me if it's changed
