Praise the Lord...

Woohooo.... this morning i checked my email and I and my spouse were speechless reading a grant letter email from DIAC case officer.

Being a category 4 applicant without any priority... It is just a miracle from God.

Guys... you all have to keep believing with a giant faith. Nothing is impossible.

Below is my timeline:

Paper Applicant of VE 175 - High Risk - Category 4 - Graphic Designer
Date lodged : 18th September 2008
CO assigned : September 2010 (Team 7)
Medical & PCC finalised : Saturday, October 15, 2010
Job verification : none
Visa Grant Letter Received : Thursday, October 21, 2010

Congratulations! Were you definately cat 4? We lodged our visa application in nov 2010 then the Ozzie government decided to change the goal posts! My husband is a chef which was removed from the SOL so we were moved to cat 4. After reading your post I emailed my migration agent to ask about any movement with the cat 4's. She said they still on 2008 cat 3's and that cat 4's hadn't been mentioned recently. Were there any special circumstances to your application? Reading your post gave me a real boost so i do hope they are looking at the cat 4's!

Yes, I am on Cat 4. That's what DIAC told me that time.
As a paper applicant, I couldn't check my application online. However, I am blessed to have a CO (team 7) who always answered my email.

Form 80 was sent together with med and pcc last time after CO assigned.

I am also still speechless, feeling like a dream...

For all category 4, I hope your applications soon be finalised too.

I could not able to believe since I read that a category 4 applicant got the visa. But now when I see this here on this forum I have to believe this.I do not know how could this be possible that a Category 4 applicants has been processed. let us see what happened? I hope some thing might change next week.

congratulations to you... i am also Cat 4 but applied in june 09 so hopefully i will get the same news sometime next year you have restored my faith thanks....once again well done

Congratulation of granted yr PR!!! but it is surprised to see a g4 applicant got approved while a lot G4 applications had been holding in a pipeline now.

I can see this post was in October 2010, so are you in Australia now?
