Hi All,

I will fly to Sydney on 5th of December for two weeks with my family to validate our Visa (175).

It seems that I will be unable to get my TFN or Medicare cards due to the short period and have no permanent address. Any Idea is appreciated.

Looking forward to meet friends in Sydney and /or Adelaide.

Why would you need them?

They are listed among first thinks to do.

Not needed if the trip is for validation.

they can be set up easily when you return permanently......there is no real benefit in having them unless you are living there.

First things needed on permanent move. Not required on a validation trip. Just enjoy your trip and check out areas. Don't worry about official stuff.

And when you do get there it doesn't take long to organise - just have to wait for the actual cards/numbers to be posted out
