Hi

I am sure this is a really dumb question but when we booked our validation flights the tour operator said he thought we would have to get tourist visas for the trip as well as our passport stamp for 176!

I think he was just trying to get us to spend some more money but then he made me think?

Can anyone tell me if you need one or is our 176 visa stamp enough??

Any Australian visa cancels the one before it, the latest one you got is the one that you need to follow the conditions of. Do you really really want your 176 canceled by getting yourself a tourist visa?

Yes be careful - some visas will cancel the 175 - an ETA visitor visa would not but the new evisitor visa would.
